The Kings Legwraps
This past weekend His Magesty, Brennan, worse the leg wraps I wove for him. He told me he really likes them and they are soft. Due to time constraints I choose to weave then from Jagger Spun wool. The weight is a 2/8 which is fingering weight.
My loom is a Louet 4 harness loom with a 27” weaving width and a build in Raddle on top of the castle. I dress the loom from back to front.
The wraps were 4” in the reed. There were some place that I had trouble with getting my beat correct as I was weaving.
At the end I switched from a boat shuttle to a stick shuttle to get the most weaving out of the warp.
After washing the legwraps measured 3.5” wide by 9 yards long.
